Online Triage will be Coming Soon!
Online Triage for Doctor Appointments – Starting 29th September
From 29th September, our practice will be introducing Online Triage for all GP and ANP (Advanced Nurse Practitioner) appointments. This is in line with new NHS contract requirements effective 1st October, and is designed to reduce the 8:30am telephone rush.
How it works:
- You’ll be asked to complete a short online triage form with 5 questions (2 are optional) about your medical concern.
- You can access the form via the NHS App or through our Practice Website.
- A GP will review all appointment requests within 24 hours to assess urgency and decide the most appropriate next steps.
Important changes:
- You will no longer be able to book a GP or ANP appointment directly through reception. All requests must go through the triage process first.
- If you are unable to access the online form, a member of our team can help you complete it over the phone or in person.
This new system ensures fairer access and more efficient use of appointments based on clinical need.
No change to Nurse and Healthcare Appointments:
Nurse and Healthcare appointments can continue to be booked directly through reception or through the links sent to you to book directly.
Further information:
Please see our appointment section for further information, along with videos on how to complete the contact form through the NHS App or on through the practice website.
