Collecting your Prescription

Take the prescription to your chemist to have it dispensed.

We do not dispense drugs at the surgery. However, most local pharmacists will collect and/or deliver your prescriptions for you but you have to arrange this yourself.

We can take no responsibility for any arrangement that you may make with another person to deliver/collect your prescriptions.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Failure to attend for review could result in the GP stopping or reducing the medication currently being prescribed.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
